Who Are We

We are an assembly of sinners who are saved by grace alone, through faith alone because of Christ alone.

Our beliefs are founded on the Word of God alone. We believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, inspired revelation of God.

We also heartily endorse and subscribe to the teachings from the time of the Protestant Reformation, as summarized in the Three Forms of Unity, Which is comprised of the Belgic Confession of Faith, the Heidelberg Catechism and the Canons of Dort. We believe these documents are an excellent summary of the teachings of the Bible and we use them to confess our faith and to organize our teaching of Bible doctrines in order to promote unity of mind around the Truth of God.

We believe that we are called to obey the Lord of the harvest as workers in His field in the gathering of souls. We believe this involves the preaching of the whole counsel of God's Word, the right administration of baptism and the Lord's Supper and in exercising church discipline.

Our History

Christ Reformed Church (formerly Harvest Reformed Church) is a member of the Reformed Church in the United States (RCUS) denomination. Check out their website at www.rcus.org for more information. The RCUS is an old denomination, founded in 1746 with roots in German Reformed communities of Russia.

Once large denomination, the RCUS, now has about 4,000 members. It was reduced in size because of a desire to remain faithful to God's Word and not become a liberal church when a merger was promoted in the 1930's.
